2024 FIELD HOCKEY FALL CLINIC

HYAA will be offering an instructional skills field hockey clinic for girls in incoming 3rd-6th grades. This clinic is a fun way for girls to learn the fundamentals of the sport and to learn from experienced players and coaches, as well as current Middle and High School players helping to coach.
When: September 7th - October 12th (if a rain date is needed, will extend to 10/19)
Time: 12:00 - 1:15 p.m.
Where: Cross Farms
Who: Incoming 3rd through 6th graders
Required Equipment: Stick, cleats, shin guards, and mouth guard. Goggles are optional.

Field hockey had 18 girls sign up for the clinic. The weather was challenging as it seemed most Saturdays were downpours but we managed to run all the sessions, even if we got a little wet sometimes. We had several middle school and high school players help coach the sessions. The girls improved week to week and while scrimmaging you could see the future Holmdel field hockey!!!
