2024 FIELD HOCKEY FALL CLINIC

HYAA will be offering an instructional skills field hockey clinic for girls in incoming 3rd-6th grades. This clinic is a fun way for girls to learn the fundamentals of the sport and to learn from experienced players and coaches, as well as current Middle and High School players helping to coach.
When: September 7th - October 12th (if a rain date is needed, will extend to 10/19)
Time: 12:00 - 1:15 p.m.
Where: Cross Farms
Who: Incoming 3rd through 6th graders
Required Equipment: Stick, cleats, shin guards, and mouth guard. Goggles are optional.
Registration fee for Instructional Clinic: $75

2024 Field Hockey
The HYAA fall field hockey program ran another successful clinic, which featured nine girls who worked on core skills and who all improved during the six-week season.
Members of the Holmdel High School field hockey joined each session to coach the players and pass on their knowledge of the game.
The Saturday sessions featured drills and scrimmages, with the players working on both offense and defense.
Three of the nine players are in the 6th grade, and are preparing to try out for the Satz team next fall. The Satz team, which has dominated its league over the last few seasons, features several players who started their field hockey experience at the HYAA clinic.
